Yes, it is possible to convert your old password into a new ePassport. If you are Indian then you need to signup on Passport Seva Online Portal or sign in if you are an existing user. Then click on the link “Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport” and fill in the required details then submit the form. Follow the instructions after submitting the form and you’ll get the new ePassport.
