This key is less difficult to manage, since as it practically never has to be used, except in cases of an emergency, it ...

Biometric: A biometric lock opens via fingerprint scan. This is the fastest mechanism for opening a safe. Dial: This is the traditional dial lock commonly seen in movies, but it’s not available on many wall safes today. Key: A key lock is typically a backup mechanism, used in combination with another type of lock.

Dual safe locks offer an emergency backup way to get into your safe should your electronic lock ever fail. They are now readily available on new safes and can be easily retrofitted to your existing safes. One of our favorites is the Prologic Xtreme from SecuRam. The Prologix takes the unique approach of combining both styles into one unit.

Electronic locks are ideal for safes that have access given to more than a few people (safes at schools, restaurants or shops for example). With the ability to change your code instantly, the electronic lock lends itself well to places of work with a high turnover of staff or changes in levels of authority.

Much higher security than a group two because of the high manipulation resistance. Drill points are very vague compared with the dial lock. Remember the dial lock was made in the Civil War, that was the first one, and it remains virtually unchanged. Trust these new electronic locks.

Every home safe locks differently. Biometric safes use your fingerprint as the primary locking structure to protect your belongings. Other options include touch keypads that allow you to create multiple PINs for family members. Another popular option is a dual lock that requires both a key and a combination lock to open the safe.
