It is unclear whether an entity located outside New York City that receives biometric identifier information without charge from an entity within New York City is subject to the NYC Law (the NYC Law could have, for example, provided that to be permitted, any such transfer would have to be made subject to an agreement by the receiving person to hold such information in accordance with the NYC Law).

Halls are restricted to 50 percent capacity outside of New York City; 35 percent capacity in New York City. Masks will be required at all times except when seated and eating or drinking. CBP extended the suspension of biometrics processing at e-SAFE Ports of Entry for non-essential travel. The suspension will remain in effect from 07/22/21 until 08/21/21, or until revoked, due to current travel restrictions..
