H4 EAD approval after Biometrics in premium 15 days can be achieved if you follow this trick: File H1B, H4, and H4 EAD concurrently in regular. Wait for 10 working days after attending biometric appointment. Upgrade H1B to premium after about 10 days of biometric completion.

H4 EAD processing with USCIS can take anywhere from 2 months to 12 months. The processing times in Service centers like Texas is faster with lesser processing time and some Service centers like California can take anywhere up to 12 months. It all depends on the load of the service center.

Since you mentioned this, I am assuming you applied for H4 along with H4-EAD. Processing time for H4-EAD as of today (25-Jun-2019) for California Service center as per Processing Times is 2.5 to 4.5 months. Generally speaking, if both H4 and H4-EAD are applied together, they both will be adjudicated together.

This is a welcome move and will revert the long processing delays. H4 EAD approval with H1B Premium in 15 days. When there was no H4 biometric required, USCIS used to approve H4 and H4 EAD within 15 days of premium processing along with H1B as a courtesy.

Published H4 and H4 EAD processing is about 4-5 months. Is my answer "BEST ANSWER" and/or "HELPFUL"? If so, please acknowledge and mark it so. Mr. Smith has 25 years of successful U.S. immigration law experience with cases just like yours.

The premium processing time for H4 EAD application cannot exceed 30 days. The premium processing clock, when someone Applies for H4 EAD would only start after the pre-requisites are met for the application. It is not clear at the moment, what these pre-requisites would be, we would know once the regulation is published by USCIS.

H4 Approval mail arrival took 74 Days (2 month 13 days) from initial filing. It took 51 Days to arrive in mail after Biometrics were done. Still online status says “Case Received” after getting approval.

You’ll be responsible for the $410 filing fee plus an $85 biometrics fee and once granted an approval, the card will be issued within a 90-day window. We anticipate that in most cases, approved individuals will receive their EAD for H-4 authorization card by August 26.

The Request for Evidence will reset the 90 day clock that USCIS has to issue to EAD. USCIS will have 90 days to adjudicate the EAD application after receiving your RFE response. If you haven't received your EAD card within 70 days after the RFE response was filed, then consult with an immigration attorney.
