If they tell you it's okay to go in earlier for your appointment, then you can make plans to go as early as works for you. Biometrics appointments can take a while, so it is best to walk in for yours at slower times of the day. You shouldn’t have to wait too long in line if you show up during the slower morning and afternoon hours.

Generally it's best to show up only on your scheduled appointment date and time. But if you need to travel abroad before a scheduled USCIS biometrics appointment (or before the appointment has been scheduled), it may be possible to attend your biometric screening early or reschedule.

If your visa is eligible for super-priority, then you will have the ability to choose this during the payment screen. This will give you a decision within 24 hours. Just to note this doesn’t give you a faster biometric appointment.

Biometrics centers in my home country are closed. How can I complete my biometrics? You can actually complete biometrics in any country. You do not have to complete them in your home country.
