I'm hoping to reschedule the appointment for her so we can make a later date. I've heard you can walk in and just do the biometrics before the appointment date, but since my mom is out of the country right now it's not a valid option for us.

Should I call to try and reschedule the biometrics appointment. Leave it to the officer at the biometrics appointment to decide, I suspect they will still take fingerprints, if the cut is healed enough, they only use ink if their fingerprint scanner does not read the fingers.
