Applicants need to make sure they do not miss their biometrics appointment. USCIS allows applicants to reschedule their appointments to a later date if they may not be able to appear for the scheduled appointment. Yes you can reschedule your visa appointment and your biometrics too. You can even change the location of your interview (within the country) if you like. I have done both of these things, change the date and location and had no issues. As an afterthought : You cannot have two set of dates for interview/biometrics.

Solution: Except in very rare cases, you have no option but to return to the U.S. and provide your biometrics. You have the option to walk-in or reschedule as described above if you cannot attend the appointment as scheduled. If you do not attend, your application will be denied.
