For mapping biometrics — easier said than done, and would be a challenge to make it real-time. Few retailers are that advanced. Fewer still can do that across chains of 500 stores or more, much less Walmart’s 5000+ stores

Posted June 11, 2007. Leave it to the officer at the biometrics appointment to decide, I suspect they will still take fingerprints, if the cut is healed enough, they only use ink if their fingerprint scanner does not read the fingers. OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Sharing our biometrics walk-in failure: We had to reschedule but thought we'd show-up to the ASC in Irving, TX (Dallas) this morning at 8:00AM. The guy in front of us and us tried to do walk-ins and all employees simply responded "No, we don't take walk-ins" even if we insisted on waiting around for hours.

So this is a touch question to answer right now. With the Embassy/Consulate offices being closed the time line might be a little longer. Once it is finished with Biometrics (USCIS) then it will go to the NVC for 30 days. After those 30 days it will be sent to the Embassy/Consulate.
