A locked phone helps in protecting personal details in case of theft or loss of the phone. Samsung happens to offer biometrics which helps in securing your phone. The all new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 also features all the available biometrics including facial recognition which also happens to be one of the favorite ones among the Note 8 owners.

Find out more about which lock methods you can use on your Samsung Galaxy device. If you can unlock your device using your biometric method (fingerprint or face recognition) but can't change your screen lock type because you've forgotten your PIN, pattern or password, use Find My Mobile to reset the unlock methods.

Once you scan your fingerprints, you can sign in without typing in your ID and password. With Samsung Pass, there's no need to memorize all those IDs and passwords for all your accounts.

Input the username and password of your Samsung account. With this information, you will be able to access the Find My Mobile service form another device. Note that once it is unlocked, your phone deletes your PIN and biometric information. Unfortunately, the Find My Phone method doesn’t work on Verizon Galaxy Note 8.
