So it looks like two months from your biometrics to your interview. That's faster than I thought. New York might be slower.

Attend your biometrics appointment - (5-8 weeks after you file Form N-400) Next, you will receive a biometrics appointment notice from USCIS. This notice will assign you a biometrics appointment date, time, and location. Your biometrics appointment location will usually be the USCIS Application Support Center that is closest to you.

Generally, the whole process will only take about 15 to 20 minutes, but you might have to wait a little beforehand for your turn. Remember, the people assisting you at your biometrics appointment do not have any information about your case at the USCIS.

USCIS typically schedules the required biometrics appointment about one month after they receive your U.S. citizenship application. You’ll receive an appointment letter (Form I-797C, officially called the “Notice of Action”) from USCIS specifying when and where your fingerprints, photos, and signature will be collected.

According to USCIS records, your application is still pending processing of your fingerprints. Due to COVID 19, biometrics (fingerprint) appointments are pending. At this time, we anticipate you should receive a decision or other notice from USCIS within 60-90 days of this notice. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by delays in processing.

Sometimes the background checks take a bit longer than others-this is particularly true when you have a common name. For whatever reason, I've noticed cases to take somewhat longer during the summer months. As long as you have a clean record, I would not worry too much about time between the biometrics and the interview.
