make sure you’re entering Canada before or on the expiry date shown on your COPR; make sure that you are the same person who was approved to travel to Canada (we may use your biometrics to do this) ask to see your passport and other travel documents; ask you a few questions to make sure you still meet the terms to immigrate to Canada

After biometrics, you need to also get a POlice clearance certificate the regional passport authority. If you have been living at the same address as the one on passport, they may give you the certificate right away. Otherwise depends on how many cities they neeed to obtain verification from.

About a week after submitting the biometrics, the status in the portal changed to show that they’d received our biometrics. If you’re between 14 and 79 years old, you need to give your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) for every permanent residence application you submit to us, even if you gave your biometrics in the past, and they’re still valid. You must pay the biometric fee when you submit your application. Otherwise, you may experience delays.

For all applications, give us your biometrics as quickly as possible. You can only give your biometrics after you pay the biometrics fee and we send you the letter that tells you how and where to give your biometrics. If there is no biometric service available where you live, you may need extra time to travel to a service location.
